Coffee, Krueger & Comic Con: A Weekend Up the Creek at Niagara Falls

Still buzzing from last weekend—though I’m not sure if it’s from the gallons of coffee we brewed or the insane energy at Niagara Falls Comic Con!

We packed up the Coffin Creek hearse (okay fine, it’s a Hyundai Pallisade (for now!)… but it feels like a hearse when it’s loaded with coffee, horror merch, and caffeine-fueled dreams) and hit the road to spend the weekend with our fellow freaks, geeks, and horror fiends.

And man… it did not disappoint.

We had a blast slinging roasts by the cup and bag to a non-stop stream of monsters, masked maniacs, and nostalgic nerds—aka, our kind of people. Whether it was our Rocky Roadkill, Ember’s Edge, or the fan-fave Here’s Johnny, the response was insane. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, grabbed a cup, and told us how much they loved what we’re doing at Coffin Creek.

Oh—and speaking of legends…

Yeah, that’s me and Brian Austin Green. Super nice guy, and turns out, he’s a big coffee fan. He grabbed a cup from us and straight up said it was delicious. We’re officially calling that a 9021-OH-DAMN moment.

But it doesn’t stop there.

The man, the myth, the OG Freddy himself—Robert Englund—had our travel tumbler on his table all weekend, and when he was leaving late Sunday after he said, and I quote:

“This is the best coffee I’ve had all weekend.”

I could’ve died right there. If Freddy Krueger says it’s the best, you know it’s real. Somebody print the shirts.

The horror community has always felt like home, and events like this remind me why we do what we do. It’s not just about the coffee (though, let’s be honest, it’s damn good coffee)—it’s about the connections, the creativity, and the chaos that happens when weirdos like us get together.

If you snagged pics with us or grabbed a bag of brew, tag us on Instagram @coffincreekcoffee and @caffeinatedhorrordude—I’d love to see what you picked up and what roast is keeping your nightmares brewing.

Until next time… stay spooky, stay wired, and remember:

Coffee’s Better… Up the Creek.

Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people-to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.

There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you might…

Detailed and practical, this guide explains concrete rebar in a way that feels approachable without oversimplifying. The step by step clarity is especially useful for readers new to the subject. I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Great resource. explanation feels practical for everyday rauhaneusers. I checked recommended tools on https://www.eljnoub.com

The Yellowstone Merch collection is a must-see for fans of the series. It includes everything from jackets to coats, giving you the ultimate cowboy vibe. I love how they’ve captured the show’s essence in each piece, and nothing completes the look better than a rugged Western Jacket.
